As You Wish: Inconceivable Tales from the Making of The Princess Bride by Cary Elwes

I finished this one a few months ago, and I wasn’t going to post a review on it. But I would like people to know about this book if they don’t already.

To start, if you haven’t already seen The Princess Bride, go watch it. If you haven’t read the book… well, I haven’t either, though reading this makes me want to. But at least watch the movie.

As Cary Elwes so eloquently points out, this movie is a beautiful piece of cinema. And what this book does is takes everything you love about the movie and make you appreciate it more when you realize everything that went into making it. I wasn’t going to review this book because there isn’t much to say about it, other than, if you’re a Princess Bride fan (and chances are you are or will be soon), you should definitely give it a read.
